This year has so far seen White Lies release their debut album, To Lose My Life, which entered the U.K. charts at number 1, complete a sold-out U.K. tour in May, play the NME Awards Tour 2009 in January, tour the U.S. and make hugely successful appearances at both SxSW in Austin, Texas in March and Coachella Festival in California in April.

The band release a new single, Death, on June 29th and the summer sees the band play Isle of Wight, Glastonbury (2 appearances over the weekend), T in the Park, Latitude and Reading & Leeds festivals as well as a slot on the main stage at Lollapalooza in the US – The Summer of Death is upon us. White Lies are: Harry McVeigh (vocals / guitar), Charles Cave (bass) & Jack Brown (drums).
